System Surveys
To assist with maximising the full system efficiency, we offer a range of on-site measurement surveys including airflow, pressure, temperature and power consumption. With the knowledge of your demand patterns, we are able to recommend specific products or improvements to your compressed air system. This service is offered for full system surveys right down to point of use application recommendations and will generally provide cost savings.
Leak Detection & Rectification
It has been estimated that approximately 10% of all electrical power is used to generate compressed air. As much as 40% of this compressed air is often wasted in leakage thereby reducing your efficiency.
A full system compressed air leak detection survey, utilising the latest technology in ultrasonic leak detection and data logging, will identify the source of these leaks and recommend specific corrective action. In order to maintain an efficient compressed air distribution system, this survey should be undertaken at regular intervals. However, in virtually all cases, the survey, when coupled with corrective action, will provide energy efficiency savings many times greater than the survey cost.
Working in close collaboration with local qualified and approved contractors familiar with our tagging system, we are able to offer a cost effective solution for leak verification.
Certain regulations, such as EC2037/2000, require that an annual leak detection survey be undertaken on refrigeration equipment using CFC and HCFC refrigerant gases. Our technicians are able to provide
Innovative Product Upgrades
Product innovations are continually researched, developed and introduced by our company. These can normally be retrofitted into your products cost effectively and we are committed to ensuring that you are aware of all new innovations that will positively impact on the performance of your installation.
An example of our innovative solutions to energy efficiency is the relatively inexpensive dew point dependent switching for heatless desiccant dryers.
Most desiccant dryers are designed for maximum load conditions whilst, in application, they are subjected to varying loads. A dryer operating below full load conditions is therefore wasting a significant amount of energy.
Our MULTITRONIC controller controls the cycle of the dryer on actual dew point conditions at the dryer outlet, rather than on a fixed cycle and will therefore reduce the energy consumption to a minimum providing a rapid payback.
