Peplyn PT
The PEPLYN PT filter is constructed from polyethylene and polypropylene componentry and incorporates a specially formulated media whose surface exhibits superb powder release properties while maintaining excellent particle retention efficiency. This significantly reduces or eliminates cake formation on the filter surface during operation resulting in continuous low pressure drops in combination with the reduction or elimination of back pulsing operations during processing.
Traditional solutions use sintered and pleated stainless steel cartridges but these suffer from complications such as having to incorporate integral CIP systems that require extensive validation to minimise the potential of batch to batch carry over.
The ability to use this cost effective disposable filter removes onerous CIP validation requirements associated with the use of stainless steel filters and provides absolute separation of batch to batch processes.
