Protecting Formation Permeability
Completion fluids are typically brines
such as bromides and chlorides and are
used to optimise the production of
hydrocarbons from the well. Particles of
dirt that may be present in completion
fluids can affect the permeability of the
reservoir and can result in a decrease in
productivity.
Filtration is typically used to guarantee
that all down well fluids are clean
‘free of particulate’ to ultimately protect
the well permeability and to maintain
continuous flow of oil.
Industry standards use a combination of
DE filter press technology with cartridge
filtration. Cartridge filtration is generally
in a parallel filter pod system however
for final filter protection a filter pod can
be in series as illustrated.
GUARDFLOW can also be used
as an additional stage post pumps
to guarantee integrity of down well solutions.

ED2000ED2000 Series condensate drains are the reliable, easy to install, cost effective solution for condensate removal.
GuardflowGUARDFLOW absolute rated pleated filter elements are designed for use in the high pressure / differential pressure environments of the oil and gas industries.
Pleatflow NPLEATFLOW N filter cartridges have been designed specifically for oil field applications and can be used as a polishing filter for injection water or to filter completion fluids, protecting the well and removing dirt from brines that can lead to a decrease in productivity.
Sorbflow VSORBFLOW cartridges differ from those offered by other manufacturers where hydrocarbons are removed through surface adsorption onto the medium, SORBFLOW V cartridges employ a proprietary modified polymer that both absorbs and chemically binds the hydrocarbon molecules into its interior matrices.
TexflowTEXFLOW precision wound depth filter cartridges are manufactured to give a considerable dirt holding capacity coupled with high flow rates and low pressure loss.
