Reduce Your Compressed Air System Carbon Footprint

A dryer’s power requirement is usually optimised for the maximum design conditions of the dryer ie 100% of rated flow, minimum pressure and maximum temperature. Inclusion of the DDS energy management system ensures the power consumed is directly proportional to the amount of water vapour entering the dryer.
For example, in a compressed air system with a compressor of 160 KW output and a PNEUDRI MX heatless dryer installed, and typically averaging 70% of rated flow, DDS could save the user 153,000 KW of energy every year. This equates to an annual environmental saving of 66,000 kg of CO2.
Every PNEUDRI dryer is protected with energy efficient OIL-X EVOLUTION pre- and after filtration which, when compared to ordinary filtration, can increase the energy savings by a further 58,000 KW. In total, this equates to an energy saving of 211,000 KW and an environmental saving of 91,000 kg of CO2 per annum.
If the rated flow of the dryer was decreased even further during operation, then even bigger energy savings could be made.
All Parker domnick hunter filtration and purification products are designed with the philosophy of air quality, energy efficiency and low lifetime costs.
