DIOKI d.d. sold on MAXIGAS nitrogen gas generators from Parker domnick hunter for chemical blanketing

DIOKI d.d. manufactures monomer and polymers and is one of Croatia's largest exporters. Its products include raw materials for extruded and injection moulded items used for electric and electronic equipment and many household appliances which are well-known throughout Europe.
The company requires a source of nitrogen for blanketing ethylene during production and previously relied on the expensive process of making its own supply via burning natural gas. In recognition of potential cost-saving opportunities however, the company sought an alternative means and selected the MAXIGAS system.
MAXIGAS generators make nitrogen from compressed air via the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) method using carbon molecular sieve (CMS) regenerative technology. Offering reliability, efficiency and a constant, controlled nitrogen flow and pressure, the generators are a cost-effective solution for nitrogen supply with an exceptionally low lifecycle ownership cost.
Two MAXIGAS120 units, with a 0.5% oxygen content were specified to satisfy the company’s daily requirements and were supplied and successfully installed by FERING FIT, a local long standing Parker domnick hunter distributor in August 2007.
Marijan Dundovic, Maintenance Engineer at DOIKI d.d. confirms 'Since installation, the system has been very reliable, which is an important factor as our plant operates 24 hours a day. In addition to a short payback period and many other commercial rewards, our long-term service contract with FERING FIT provides us with technical and general support and maintenance and in turn, assurance and peace of mind.'
Other Parker domnick hunter solutions such as compressed air filters and dryers respectively are also operational throughout the DIOKI site at Zagreb.
