domnick hunter guarantees its OIL-X EVOLUTION filter range to meet ISO air quality standards.
Oil and water aerosols and solid particulate are removed from compressed air by coalescing depth filters. domnick hunter OIL-X EVOLUTION coalescing filters have been performance tested in accordance with ISO8573.2 and ISO8573.4 test methods. OIL-X EVOLUTION dry particulate filters and oil vapour removal filters were also performance tested in accordance with ISO8573.4 and ISO8573.5 respectively.
The performance of all three filter types exceeded the air quality requirements shown in ISO 8573.1 : 2001 and filtration performance was also independently verified by Lloyds Register, the leading international approval authority. Copies of independent test certificates are available on request from domnick hunter.
The OIL-X EVOLUTION filter element is guaranteed for 12 months and is constructed using an oleophobic nanofibre filter media which actively repels oil and water to reduce pressure drop and keep running costs to a minimum. For particulate and aerosol removal duties deep bed pleating provides 4½ x more filter media than an ordinary element, giving a larger filtration area, lower flow velocities, increased dirt holding capacity and lower running costs.
The filter performance guarantee can be extended by replacing the element annually.
Mark White, Product Manager at domnick hunter explains, “When you think about purchasing filters and dryers for a system, you have to remember the reason you need it in the first place – contamination in the air. Delivered air quality should always be the prime factor when considering purification products.”
It is not only the OIL-X EVOLUTION filter performance that is guaranteed, all filter housings constructed from die-cast aluminium and carbon steel are powder coated for extra protection against corrosion and are guaranteed for 10 years.
The ISO air quality standards are very comprehensive but can be quite difficult to understand, which is why domnick hunter recently published a free guide on the subject.
