Job Description
Working as part of a dedicated team
comprised of Design, Development and Product Marketing Professionals within the
Engineering Department
The key focus of this role will be 3-D
design (Pro-E), 2-D design (CimCad)
and the generation of product specifications in conjunction with product marketing.
The successful alll applicants should be familiar with FMEA, DFM, VE design tools and New Product Development methodology.
Design Engineers have regular contact with internal and external customers,
suppliers and sub-contractors.
Therefore they must possess exceptional interpersonal, motivational and time management skills.
Experience
To succeed in this challenging role successful applicants should possess an HNC/Degree
qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or similar), a proven record of innovation and have
a minimum of 4 years industrial experience within a manufacturing environment.
